If you haven’t jumped on the HDSLR revolution bandwagon yet, now is the perfect time!
B&H is running a great sale on Canon’s flagship, the 5D MkII. Not only can you pick up the camera for under $2K, but they are throwing in a great bundle as well.
If the 5D MkII is out of your budget, the Canon T2i is up for grabs with a kit lens for under $600. Or pick up my favorite low budget HDSLR, the Canon 60D with 18-135mm kit lens for under $1100.
Hmmm… all these sales going on… wondering if I should wait to see what’s next out of the gate from Canon or hope for an even better deal during the sales slump of January.
I agree with Bob.I’m personally going to wait at least until after the pre CES Canon announcements.
รย I’m probally going to go for something like a Panasonic GH2 or wait until canon releases one with no heat issues, no 4gb limit (well the 4GB limit is still there but needs to support file spiting)
Three things to remember…
We don’t know if the 5D MkIII will be any better in video.
At this price, the 5D MkII is a steal.
And the 5D MkII is still one of the best cameras out there.
actually the hacked gh2 can blow away the 5D as far as video goes…have you not read the “news” lately ; ) its also a subjective issue (as far as “warm” color goes the 5d its better…but there is color fix for most things…)
as far as stills …well, 5D rules! but thats no brainer ; )
