Arri has created cameras and camera accessories that have become industry standard, so it’s no surprise that their gear for DSLRs emanates quality. Here they show how they’ve optimized rigs for DSLR video.
Idk if I’m convinced about this ARRI stuff. It seems like they are a little late to the game and I think they missed the mark with this stuff. The whole thing is extremely front heavy, you would either have to load the back up with a v mount or a bunch of counter weight. It definitely won’t balance on a tripod. The FF looks borrowed from Letus/Trusmt (or vise versa?)รย and they took an existing base plate and converted it with a chunky adapter. With so much saturation of this market from RRM, Zacuto, Cinevate, Gini, Jag35, not to mention higher end stuff from Chrosziel, viewfactor, etc. There isn’t much room for more stuff that isn’t extremely well designed.
