Shooting ENG (Electronic News Gathering) style on your HDSLR is great.  You can be small, discreet, and quick.  But capturing audio can still be bulky and inconvenient.  Their are a few on-camera options out there like the Rode Videomic or Azden SMX-10 but these can still be bulky or not provide high quality sound.  DSLR News Shooter recently showcased the new Hosa Technology Que Audio ENG mini shotgun mic.  It boasts tons of great features like a super small form factor, 1/8″ & XLR compatibility, compact boom pole with stand and more.  MSRP is listed at $449.
