As promised, Apple revealed all the details about the new iPad 2 today.  Not too surprising was the addition of a front and rear facing cameras.  The rear camera can record up to 720p video and can be edited on the new iMovie app for the iPad.  The iPad version of the popular editor looks to pack in quite a few features for only $4.99.  Also available will be GarageBand for the iPad which will allow 8 track recording and on screen instrument playing.

With 2x the processing power and 9x the graphics power all packed into a thiner, lighter body, the iPad 2 looks like a real winner.

Pricing will be the same as the current iPad which starts at $499.  The iPad 2 will be available on March 11th.
