Most affordable video lights to this point have been pretty traditional. Switch on, switch off, dim up or down and if you’re lucky some may allow you to dial in your color temp. Kick sets itself to be well beyond anything you’ve used before through its iPhone app. Not only can you control the basics like brightness and color, you can also do light animations.
