How about Stability? In this NextWave review we see a the assembly of this prompter. When attaching the unit to the rails (@1:55), it looks very flimsy. Is this the case? And, just how secure is the iPad in the unit’s “little braces” (2:26)?

For the light stand. How does it “pop right on there”? I just got it, and it came with nothing at all to attach to a light stand. Just the thread. My light stand has a flat top, but no screws.
It should have come with a 1/4 20 threaded attachment for screwing a light stand into it. If it didn’t, contact the manufacturer.
