I always find it fascinating to hear how directors and cinematographers make their camera choices. While on DVXUser, I read this post about a shoot where the Sony FS700 and RED Epic were used together for a 15 second Totino’s TV ad. The Epic shot the foreground at 120fps of the mom opening the fridge while the FS700 was used at 240fps for the kids in the background. One thing I found interesting was the reasoning for using the FS700. Shane Kelly writes:
because the fs700 looked better at 240.
240 on the epic is a sensor crop and I don’t think that it looks very good.
Understandably the Epic was better for keying the footage of the mom out, but to see the FS700 beat out the Epic in any category is pretty cool. Watch the full BTS video below.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
